Daihatsu to Exhibit Midget X Osaka Version at Japan Mobility Show Kansai 2025 ~ Adopting a mark of Osaka Castle to enliven the hosting of the event in Osaka ~

Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Daihatsu”) will be exhibiting, as a limited event, the Midget X Osaka Version at Japan Mobility Show Kansai 2025 / Osaka Mobility Show 2025 being held at INTEX Osaka in Suminoe Ward, Osaka City from December 5 to 7, 2025.

The exhibition theme is “DAIHATSUMEI for me. Invented for you. Because it’s small, you can do it all—one small step at a time.” Starting with the Midget X Osaka Version, Daihatsu will be exhibiting seven models, including concept cars that embody “DAIHATSUMEI” making people think, “This seems perfect for me” and “This seems like it would make life more fun.”
The Midget X is a new mobility solution with a diverse range of variations—from passenger models to commercial models—that brings convenience to familiar everyday mobility. To allow the Midget X Osaka Version being exhibited this time to be used widely, from work to hobbies, it has been given specifications suitable for last-mile delivery and solo camping. They include pocket flaps that can be accessed from the side, the adoption of nylon fabric, a luggage space with expandable deck walls, and a single seat to ensure space for luggage. It also features a mark of Osaka Castle, which was found on some Daihatsu vehicles primarily from the 1950s to the 1960s, enlivening the hosting of the event in Osaka.

Daihatsu will also be exhibiting its new walking mobility solution, the e-SNEAKER, at the “Next-Generation Mobility Corner” exhibition being organized by the Osaka Mobility Show Executive Committee, and visitors will also be able to test-ride it.
