Daihatsu to Exhibit Mini Welfare Vehicles and Mobility Services for Welfare and Nursing Care at H.C.R. 2026 – The 53rd International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition & Forum

Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Daihatsu”) will exhibit mini welfare vehicles, walking-area mobility devices, and mobility services for welfare and nursing care at H.C.R. 2026 – The 53rd International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition & Forum, Asia’s largest comprehensive welfare equipment exhibition, held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo) from October 7 to 9, 2026.

Based on the mission of “staying close to our customers and enriching their lives,” Daihatsu offers a diverse product lineup of welfare vehicles tailored to users’ nursing care needs under the “Friendship Series,” earning high praise from many customers. In fiscal 2025, Daihatsu ranked No. 1 in mini welfare vehicle sales for the 12th consecutive year^*1. The Friendship Series of the Tanto mini passenger vehicle also ranked No. 1 in welfare vehicle sales by model name among mini and registered vehicles^*2, as well as No. 1 in each of the wheelchair accessible vehicle, seat lift vehicle, and turn seat vehicle categories^*3. Furthermore, Daihatsu is pursuing various initiatives aimed at creating a society where everyone can move freely, including developing mobility services that stay close to local communities and the elderly.

At H.C.R. 2026, Daihatsu will expand the exhibition lineup of its popular Tanto Friendship Series, displaying four vehicles comprising two wheelchair accessible vehicles, one seat lift vehicle, and one turn seat vehicle, as well as an ATRAI mini commercial wheelchair accessible vehicle. In addition, Daihatsu will feature dedicated exhibition areas for RAKUPITA SOGEI, a welfare and nursing care transportation management system renewed in October 2025, and GOISSHO, a shared welfare and nursing care transportation service offered since 2022. Through stage demonstrations, videos, and panel displays, Daihatsu will also showcase Daihatsu’s initiatives in the welfare and nursing care sectors.

Daihatsu will also exhibit the e-SNEAKER, a walking-area mobility device launched in August 2025 to support short-distance travel. In April 2026, the e-SNEAKER obtained a Technical Aids Information System (TAIS)^*4 code and the Welfare Equipment Rental Mark. Starting in October 2026, FRANCE BED CO., LTD. plans to launch a trial in the Osaka area for welfare equipment rental under the long-term care insurance system. The e-SNEAKER will also be exhibited at the FRANCE BED booth at H.C.R. 2026.

By providing products and services that contribute to the welfare and nursing care sectors, Daihatsu will continue to work on both MONODUKURI and KOTODUKURI to realize a mobility society that enriches our customers’ lives.
