DAIHATSU Renews RAKUPITA SOGEI Transportation Support System for Welfare and Nursing Care Services - Supporting diverse transportation needs, including joint transportation across multiple facilities -

Oct. 01, 2025
DAIHATSU MOTOR CO., LTD.

DAIHATSU MOTOR CO., LTD. (hereinafter “DAIHATSU”) has launched the renewed version of its RAKUPITA SOGEI welfare and nursing care transportation management system on October 1, 2025.

RAKUPITA SOGEI is a transportation management system developed to improve labor productivity in nursing care settings. It supports transportation operations for day-care facilities before, during, and after pick-up and drop-off. Since its launch in 2018, the system has been widely used at day-care facilities across Japan. Building on the expertise cultivated through RAKUPITA SOGEI, DAIHATSU also provides its GOISSHO shared nursing care transportation service to support the mobility and lifestyles of the elderly in local communities, starting with the shared transportation of multiple nursing care facilities and making effective use of transportation vehicles.

In recent years, the diversification of nursing care services has made transportation operations increasingly complex, placing a greater burden on facility staff during transportation. The latest renewal introduces a proprietary algorithm developed specifically for nursing care transportation, significantly improving the accuracy of transportation plans. In addition, it enables the system to accommodate more complex transportation formats, such as shared transportation across multiple facilities and through transportation , in which vehicles proceed directly to the next pick-up without returning to the facility after drop-off. To make managing these advanced operations easier, the user interface (UI) has been fully redesigned to enhance visibility and usability.
Furthermore, in addition to dedicated rental smartphones, the service can now also be accessed via a new app on customers’ own smartphones, expanding accessibility to meet a wider range of needs.

DAIHATSU will also exhibit RAKUPITA SOGEI and GOISSHO , alongside its lineup of welfare vehicles, at the H.C.R. 2025 - The 52nd International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition & Forum, a comprehensive exhibition of welfare equipment, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from October 8 to 10, 2025, showcasing its initiatives to address customer challenges.

DAIHATSU will continue to work on both MONODUKURI and KOTODUKURI to realize a mobility society that enriches the lives of customers through the provision of services that contribute to local communities.

< Key points of the renewed RAKUPITA SOGEI renewal >

1. Improved accuracy of transportation plans through a proprietary algorithm developed specifically for nursing care transportation

The renewed RAKUPITA SOGEI uses a dedicated algorithm that automatically generates the optimal transportation plan by taking into account multiple conditions, such as the specified arrival time of the transportation vehicle at the home and the departure time to the facility, whether the user has a wheelchair or walker, and available vehicles. Through further development based on the algorithm of GOISSHO, it is possible to generate transportation plans with higher accuracy that can also accommodate complex transportation formats such as joint transportation and through transportation. In addition, the user interface (UI) has been revamped to improve visibility and operability, making transportation management easier.

(1) Support for joint transportation across multiple facilities
Consolidates and centrally manages transportation services currently provided by multiple facilities to improve efficiency. Supports collaboration between facilities to achieve efficient transportation throughout the region, while reducing the burden on facility staff, drivers, and users during transportation.

(2) Support for through transportation
Supports a transportation format in which, after dropping a user off at their home, the vehicle proceeds directly to the next pick-up without returning to the facility. Enables the prediction and management of departure and arrival times. Allows flexible daily scheduling even for complex transportation such as short-time services.

2. Provision of a smartphone application for linkage functions

Provides the smartphone linkage function, which allows confirmation of transportation plans and recording of transportation results. Now available not only on rental smartphones but also as an app that can be installed on customers’ own smartphones.
Compatible with Android and iOS.
