Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. to Exhibit its Welfare Vehicles at 43rd International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition: H.C.R.2016

Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter Daihatsu) plans to exhibit mini welfare vehicles, the Friendship Series, at the 43rd International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition: H.C.R.2016. This is the largest exhibition of its kind in Asia, and will be held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo) from Wednesday, October 12 to Friday, October 14.

This time Daihatsu will exhibit seven units of welfare vehicles, including two vehicles with Smart Assist, its crash avoidance system. At the end of July of this year Daihatsu sold a total of more than one million vehicles with Smart Assist. Daihatsu will expand its exhibition area to the largest one ever, exhibiting its entire lineup of mini welfare vehicles, from a wheelchair accessible model to a passenger seat-lift equipped model.

Daihatsu will provide a wide range of mini welfare vehicles focusing on usability for those who need care and for those who provide care and it will also expand the Friendship Shop*1, on which Daihatsu distributors across Japan are currently working on, in order to enhance our ability to respond to customers using welfare vehicles, aiming to be a company closer to its customers.
