Oct. 25, 2005

In the Euro NCAP test results announced on 25th October, Daihatsu's Sirion received four stars in the category of adult occupant protection, three stars in child occupant protection, and two stars in pedestrian protection.

Established in 1997, the Euro NCAP assessment programme is known as one of the world's most stringent standards for collision safety tests. Euro NCAP evaluates the safety performance of automobiles from three perspectives: adult occupant protection (5 stars being the best), pedestrian protection (4 stars being the best), and child occupant protection (5 stars being the best). The results of the recent tests conducted by Euro NCAP proved the Sirion's excellent safety performance and protection for both occupants and pedestrians.
