We extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the victims of the earthquakes centered in Kumamoto and Oita Prefectures, which struck on April 14 and subsequent days.
Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (“Daihatsu Motor”) and Daihatsu Motor Kyushu Co., Ltd.
(“Daihatsu Motor Kyushu”) announced today that the companies have decided the operation
of production lines at their plants in Japan in a phased manner from Monday, May 30 to
Saturday, June 4
We will make a decision on the operations from June 6 in accordance with the supply of
parts and components, etc.
We sincerely hope that the areas affected by this disaster enjoy the earliest possible recovery.
