Daihatsu’s Contribution to Disaster Relief for the Indonesian Earthquake

Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (DMC) offers its most-sincere sympathy to the victims of the earthquake that struck central-southern Indonesia on 27 May.

To help ease the situation and contribute to the recovery effort, DMC, PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) and PT Astra International Tbk - Daihatsu Sales Operation (AI-DSO) have decided to donate approximately 14 million yen to be used as relief for the victims of the earthquake.

DMC 5 million yen through the Japanese Red Cross Society
ADM (Daihatsu vehicle manufacturer in Indonesia) 500 million rupiah
(approximately 6 million yen)
AI-DSO (Daihatsu vehicle distributor in Indonesia) A Daihatsu ambulance
(approximately 3 million yen)
