Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Daihatsu”) announced partial improvements to its mini passenger vehicles, the Move Canbus and Move, and will introduce a new special-edition Move Canbus model, to be launched nationwide on Wednesday, July 29.

The Move Canbus is offered in two distinct styles: Stripes, which carries forward the charm of the original model while giving it a clean, refined look, and Theory, which expresses a high-quality, calm worldview. Daihatsu has now introduced the new special-edition Interior Selection model. By adopting the interior worldview of the counterpart model for both Stripes and Theory, the new model blends the appeal of both. In addition, Daihatsu has introduced two new styles, Urban Grace Style and Retro Pop Style, which combine dedicated accessories and extend the worldview fusion realized in the special-edition model beyond the interior and into the exterior.

As part of the partial improvements, new body colors have been added to the Move Canbus to further expand its distinctive worldview. In addition, both the Move Canbus and Move now feature enhanced Smart Assist^*1 preventive safety functions, including cyclist detection, detection of oncoming vehicles when turning right at intersections, and detection of crossing pedestrians approaching from the opposite direction when turning left or right. These enhancements improve safety, while the adoption of an Active Multi-Information Meter (7-inch TFT + digital speedometer) also improves convenience.

Daihatsu will continue to provide affordable, high-quality products that stay close to customers’ daily lives.
