Notice Regarding the Operation of Domestic Plants in February (as of January 23)

Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. would like to again convey its sincerest apologies for betraying the trust of its customers and all other stakeholders and the great inconvenience it has caused by the procedural irregularities in certification processes.
We had initially planned to suspend operations at all domestic assembly plants until the end of January, due to the procedural irregularities in certification processes.
And we have now decided on the following regarding operations from February onwards.
Going forward, we will take any necessary measures, such as performing testing with the certification authorities in attendance, in accordance with indications from the MLIT, while carefully confirming that our customers can trust our vehicles to support their daily lives as a company.

 (Considering customer feedback, the preparedness status of suppliers, and other relevant factors, we will make a comprehensive decision.)
 
* The conformity confirmation of the vehicles produced by affected plants by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has not been completed, and there is no prospect for resuming operations after February 17.
