Notice Regarding Publication of The Independent Third-Party Committee Investigation Report

Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. established an impartial Independent Third-Party Committee on May 15, 2023, in light of the procedural irregularities in certification application announced on April 28, 2023. We requested that the committee fully clarify the nature of the irregularities, analyze their causes, and recommend measures to prevent recurrence that extend to its organizational structure and development process. We have now received the report and is releasing it publicly.

We deeply apologize to our customers and other stakeholders for causing great inconvenience and concern with regards to these irregularities.
