The current round of partial upgrades to the vehicle include renewal of the front face as well as enhanced safety functions*2 and performance achieved through the addition of night-time pedestrian detection, pedestrian detection when turning right or left at crossroads and driver abnormality response system*1 . Customers’ range of choice has been further extended for this release with the additional installation of E-Four (Electric 4WD System)*3 .
Based on its “Light you up” approach, going forward Daihatsu will continue to provide optimal mobility to every one of its customers, and cater to their needs via its extended range of mini vehicles and compact cars.
*1 In the event that there is no response from the driver in a given time frame when driving with radar cruise control and lane control support, the car will gradually decrease speed while signaling to the outside (hazard lamps, horn), stop in own lane and release the door lock.
*2 Safety functions are intended as driving support and therefore have limits; there are instances where they will not activate due to road and weather conditions. Always remember to drive safely without over relying on safety functions. For detailed information, please consult your nearest dealer or instruction manual.
