Disaster Assistance for Torrential Rain Accompanying Storm Front of 2020 Rainy Season

We wish to express our condolences to people who perished in the torrential rains that occurred from July 3, accompanying the storm front of the 2020 rainy season. At the same time, we wish to express our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected.

As assistance for the disaster caused by the torrential rain, Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter Daihatsu) has decided to donate three million yen to the specified non-profit corporation, Japan Platform (JPF).

In addition, both Daihatsu and Daihatsu Motor Kyushu Co., Ltd. have made the decision to provide vehicles free of charge to municipalities and other bodies in the affected areas so as to be of assistance when recovery activities begin.

Both companies will continue to strive toward being able to contribute to everyone in the affected areas.

We sincerely hope that the affected areas will recover as soon as possible.
