Daihatsu to Provide Support for Victims of the Sulawesi Island Earthquakes and Tsunami

We at Daihatsu would like to extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the victims of the earthquakes and tsunami that struck Indonesia’s Sulawesi Island on September 28.

Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (“Daihatsu Motor”) has decided to make a monetary donation of three million yen to the non-profit organization Japan Platform in support of the affected areas. Our overseas subsidiary P.T. Astra Daihatsu Motor and its affiliated companies are also planning to donate the equivalent of 740 million rupiah (approximately 5.5 million yen).

Daihatsu will continue to do all it can for people in the affected areas, and offer support contributing to their wellbeing.

We sincerely hope that the areas affected by this disaster enjoy the earliest possible recovery.
