Daihatsu's Contribution to Disaster Relief for the Sumatra Earthquake and Indian Ocean Tsunami

Daihatsu (DMC) and its two overseas affiliates, P.T. Astra Daihatsu Motor and Perodua Group Companies, have decided to donate approximately 30 million yen to be used as relief for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami.

Aid Contents

Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. Over 10 million yen to the Japanese Red Cross Society by the company and its employees.
P.T. Astra Daihatsu Motor Vehicles totalling 1 billion rupiahs (approx. 12.5 million yen) to the Indonesian Government.
Perodua Group Companies 200 thousand ringgits (approx. 5.5 million yen) to a disaster fund collected by a Malaysian newspaper company.
