Daihatsu Announces Organizational Changes and Personnel Transfer

Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. announced it has reviewed its systems for officers and executives and will be carrying out organizational changes and reforms with effect from January 1, 2025.

1. Overview of Organizational Changes

(1) Establishment of the Business & Product Group

  • Integrating the strategy formulation and execution functions related to business and products, previously dispersed across the Corporate Management Group, Sales & Customer Service Group, and Overseas Business Planning Div., into the newly established Business & Product Group (the Overseas Business Planning Div. will be dissolved).
  • Within the new Group, the Business Planning Div., Product Marketing Div., and Parts & Car Accessory Development Div. will be established.

(2) Other Organizational Restructuring
(including new establishments and changes in divisions and division-level organizations)

<Corporate Management Group>

  • Establishment of a new External Affairs Dept. that consolidates domestic and international public relations functions.

<Production Control & Purchasing Group>

  • The Logistics Dept. of the Production Control Div. was reorganized as the Logistics Div.
  • The Purchasing Div. was reorganized into the Supply Chain Strategy Div., Purchasing Project Promotion Div., Parts & Materials Purchasing Div.
