Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. announces its organizational changes and executive personnel transfers effective as of June 1, 2020

1. Organizational Change

(1) Domestic Sales Group

  • To further expand business by centralizing functions—without drawing distinction between the special purpose vehicle business and the standard vehicle business—and promoting planning, development, and sales, the product planning and sales promotion functions of the Product Dept. under the Fleet Business Div. will be transferred to the Domestic Product Marketing Dept. and Sales Planning Dept. while its sales function will be merged with the Sales Dept.

(2) Research Institute of Car and Life-style

  • The Overseas Car Accessory R&D Dept. will be transferred to the Parts Div. of the Customer Service Group so as to streamline overseas car accessory development.

(3) Customer Service Group

  • Domestic and overseas car accessory development will be centralized at the Parts Div. of the Customer Service Group to improve productivity.
