DNGA (Daihatsu New Global Architecture)

Daihatsu’s car manufacturing has its roots in the concept of “monodukuri (manufacturing) that plays an intimate part in the lives of our customers,” and remains unchanged for over 100 years.

At Daihatsu, we have focused on providing easy-to-use, high-quality cars at affordable prices, for customers both in regional areas of Japan and in emerging markets.

The needs of our customers are ever-changing, and the ways cars are used continue to evolve—and it is crucial we respond to these changes in a speedy manner. To this end, we have centered our development around the three conceptual pillars of “high quality at affordable prices,” “mastering the smallest details,” and “providing advanced technologies to everyone.” And, working together as a company, the answer we have come up with is the Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA).

Going forward, at Daihatsu we will continue our efforts to provide our customers with evolutionary compact cars that meet the needs of the times.
