Mini Commercial Vehicle Price Revision Postponed Due to Plant Suspension

Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (Daihatsu) announced on April 20 that it would revise its prices for the mini commercial vehicle Hijet series and Atrai. However, as there has been a suspension of operations due to a shortage of parts supply from suppliers, there has been a significant reduction in the production of these models. As a result, it will be difficult to produce all of the units that have already been ordered at the current price by July, and the price revision, which was scheduled to apply from July production, will be postponed. Regarding the postponement period, we plan to revise the price in line with partial improvements that are scheduled around the end of the year, taking into account the uncertain future of factory operations and parts supply. Details will be announced separately.
