A Grade with No Idling Stop Added to Selected Models

Jan. 24, 2023
Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd.

Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd (hereinafter “Daihatsu”) has announced that it will add a grade with no idling stop system (models without eco IDLE) to select models and will launch them on April 11 nationwide.

Daihatsu has been taking various measures, such as switching to alternative parts, to address the production delays in a number of models due to the parts supply shortage caused by a combination of factors, including the global shortage of semiconductors and the spread of COVID-19. However, since the situation regarding the parts supply remains uncertain, Daihatsu has added a new grade to the lineup for customers to choose from in order to deliver the product as soon as possible.

Daihatsu apologizes for any inconvenience and long wait time for the delivery of vehicles. The company will make all efforts to deliver products to customers as soon as possible.
