Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Daihatsu”) has partially upgraded its Altis passenger vehicle, and will launch the new model nationwide on August 5.

Produced by Toyota Motor Corporation as an OEM vehicle, the Altis became Daihatsu’s first-ever hybrid passenger car when it was released in May 2012.

This partial upgrades to the vehicle include enhanced safety performance achieved by standardization of the blind spot monitor—flashing LED indicators mounted on both door mirrors detect vehicles appearing in adjacent lanes in the driver’s blind spot zone.

Based on its “Light you up” approach, going forward Daihatsu will continue to provide optimal mobility to every one of its customers, and cater to their needs via its extended range of mini vehicles and compact cars.
