
I’m pleased to announce the release of Daihatsu’s new online in-house magazine “DAIHATSU ONE!” Some of you might be wondering why we started an online in-house magazine at this time. In this first volume, we will introduce the background and thoughts behind the establishment of “DAIHATSU ONE!”

Creating a New Daihatsu with Our “Partners”
Two years from now, in the spring, Daihatsu Motor will celebrate its 120th anniversary.
“Staying close to our customers and enriching their lives”
This is an unchanged philosophy that Daihatsu has cherished since its founding in 1907. To bring this philosophy to life, what we need to do is make our company more open by connecting employees, affiliated companies, and even their families. We hope to learn more about the thoughts and initiatives of the “Partners” who support Daihatsu and to think about and create the future of Daihatsu together with them.
Concept: An Open In-House Magazine to Connect With “Partners”
We decided to take the plunge and launch the open in-house magazine “Daihatsu ONE”! to connect with “Partners” inside and outside the company. Although “DAIHATSU ONE!” is an in-house magazine, it is not limited to “in-house” use. It can be viewed anytime, anywhere, and by everyone at affiliated companies in Japan and overseas, their families, and Daihatsu fans.
We hope to communicate in an “honest,” “easy-to-understand,” and “enjoyable” manner! Our aim is to create an open in-house magazine that is unpretentious, friendly, and heartwarming.

It means: “to expand our network of people and organizations openly and think and act with empowerment.”

Future of the Magazine
We plan to release three volumes per month in “DAIHATSU ONE!” As members of the Inner Communication Group, we would like to provide a lot of appealing information about Daihatsu from the point of view of employees.
We aim to create an in-house magazine that can be enjoyed not only by those inside the company but outside as well!
