Daihatsu Auto Body Co., Ltd. to Change its Company Name
Daihatsu Auto Body Co., Ltd., a 100% subsidiary of Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (DMC), decided at its ordinary general shareholders' meeting held on 22 June to change its company name to "Daihatsu Motor Kyushu Co., Ltd." This change has been made to demonstrate the company's deep roots in the local community of Kyushu (western part of Japan) where it is located and to identify it as the Daihatsu Group's key enterprise in the region.
