2. Reason for dissolution
Daihatsu Europe was established in November 1992 to market Hijet vehicles manufactured by Piaggio & C, S.p.A. Production of the Hijet was terminated at the end of December 2002. Accordingly, Daihatsu Motor has decided to dissolve Daihatsu Europe.

Dissolution is scheduled to take place in February 2003.
