A Worldwide Network
Daihatsu is building a worldwide network and already has production, sales, and service operations in approximately 130 countries. Our capabilities include production in Asia and exports of CBU vehicles to Europe. With their low environmental impact and outstanding convenience, compact cars are the wave of the future.
Beyond Japan
Our overseas operations include local production and exports of CBU vehicles. Seven overseas plants mainly in Asia, including in Malaysia, Indonesia, and China develop, manufacture, and supply parts. We provide technical expertise and training according to regional needs. At present, the bulk of our exports go to Europe, notably to Germany, Italy, and the UK. Worldwide we have approximately130 distributors.
